The  Bangladesh women’s kabaddi team  lost their second straight match in the five-match kabaddi Test series, falling to Nepal 29-22 in Kathmandu on Monday. Nepal now leads the series 2-0. The game took place at the Satdobato Taekwondo Hall in Lalitpur, where Bangladesh was behind 18-10 at halftime. Despite the loss, coach  Arduzzaman Munshi  said his team showed improvement compared to the first match. “The team played much better today,” he said. “In the first match, we struggled in both defense and attack, but today, the defense was much stronger.” He remains hopeful for the remaining matches, saying, “Hopefully, we can win two of the last three games, even though we’re down 2-0 in the series.” The third match will be played on Tuesday at the same venue. Junior Clean Mission:  The SAFF Under-19 Championship will start on May 9 in Arunachal Pradesh, India. Bangladesh began their training for the tournament today. A total of 31 players have joined the camp at the Shams-ul-Huda Football Academy in Jessore, led by coach Golam Rabbani Chhotan. Among them are three players from abroad. Even after 53 years of independence, the  Bangladesh Football Federation  (BFF) has not built a complete football academy. The Shamsul Huda Academy, a private initiative in Jessore, is well-equipped. It has good coaches, a nice field, clean rooms, food, and other necessary facilities. Many players from this academy are now in the national team or playing in the top league.
