Recently  Rohit Sharma stand has been inaugurated at Wankhede Stadium . Former Indian coach Ravi Shastri has made a special demand for Rohit Sharma after a stand was unveiled in his name at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday, May 16. Rohit was honored by the Mumbai Cricket Association on Friday, May 16 for his contribution to cricket. A special stand has been made for him at the Wankhede. Rohit Sharma’s parents honoured their son by unveiling the stand named after him. Along with Rohit, the MCA also felicitated former Indian captain Ajit Wadekar and former BCCI president Sharad Pawar. Many celebrities were present at the event, one of whom was Ravi Shastri. The former Indian coach hugged Rohit and then in his own special style asked him to hit a six on the stand named after him.   There were quiet talks starting from the Border-Gavaskar series against Australia. Indian media suggested that this could be the last Test series for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in white jerseys. The Test series against England marks the start of the  2025 World Test Championship cycle . From the beginning, many believed that Rohit and Kohli might not play in the 5-match away series. Rohit Blames Team for Not Taking His Advice

  Even though  Rohit Sharma scored a half-century against Rajasthan Royals ,  he sounded regretful. The experienced opener, who lost his captaincy last season, feels disappointed because Mumbai’s team management hasn’t listened to his advice since then. This has left the former captain unhappy. During the innings break against Rajasthan, the commentators spoke with Rohit. They asked him how Mumbai’s bowlers should bowl on that pitch. Rohit Sharma  was a flop with the bat in the Australia Test series. Indian captain Rohit Sharma said that his decision to stay out of the  Sydney Test  against Australia earlier this year was not taken with everyone’s consent.
