Boston Celtics guard  Payton Pritchard  has won the 2024-25 Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award, given to the league’s best player coming off the bench. He received the John Havlicek Trophy for this honor. This is the first time Pritchard has won the award. Wisden   editor Lawrence Booth called the World Test Championship a “mess pretending to be a top event.” In the latest edition of Wisden, Booth also criticized the International Cricket Council (ICC), especially Jay Shah’s move from BCCI secretary to ICC chairman in August.
